For me, I prefer strength armors first, so for me that's Dafari light (Ogrus Ironeater, B'naaru Heavyhands), and the Khitan DLC medium cold STR, and the Pict DLC heavy hot STR.
The only armor I use star metal for is the silent Legion redeemed chest plate. As for DLCs the only one worth getting in my opinion is isles of siptah. It's the only dlc that adds more to the game then just cosmetics. Honeslty if you play pvp it's p2w.
