May 30, 2021 · Remove the actuator and see if there is any resistance on the lever it moves. Move it manually in both directions to see if you go from heat to A/C. I attached the directions below for removal. (Pic 1) Pic 2 shows what you will see when it's removed. Make sure the two levers I highlighted are moving and tight. Depending on your type of system controls, (manual, you adjust temperature or automatic, you set digital temperature) you can replace this unit. Unplug the unit, remove screws and remove control unit. Take part to NAPA Auto Parts for a replacement part. They had the manual part about $25.00.

It it were "truth" - intentional sabotage, at least one of my 3 Chrysler 200's would have had this issue. 2013 200 V6 Touring S, 2013 200 V6 Limited and 2015 200 S AWD. I don't hear any odd noises, the coolant level is good.
I'm aware there are 3 blend door actuators in total. I've replaced the parts needed that control the fan speed and I've replaced the one that controls the location of where the air flows (i.e., feet, dash, etc.) - I've actually done this one twice now.
