*NEW SITE* It's utilizing a old Troop L 800mhz frequency on the new CSERN P25 system. This was an old Alternate Control Channel for the SmartZone system, makes sense so the radios will failover to it.CSPERN is a legit system, CSERN is not. The CT Statewide P25 system is called Connecticut Land Mobile Radio Network (CLMRN). CSPERN is not part of the Statewide Trunk System, but is a stand alone analog 800MHz system. SPAN is another Statewide resource but is simply a talkgroup on the CLMRN system.

The numbering system allows for 100 possible talkgroups per town. New Milford is tax town 096 so you could simply program all 100 groups from 19600 to 19699. I have never logged any of those groups on Troop L Site (or any other site). They have migrated from the old 4.1 system to the new 7.X system, all the 800 channels are still used and they added some 700 channels. The 700 was used to do the cutover so the 800 could run the old system untill it was complete, now it is just 1 big P25 system with 700 & 800 channels.

Hartford has been working for a while testing and installing radios. Today they went to the Statewide P25 Trunked System (CLMRN) using 16410 as the dispatch talkgroup. The Incident Channels are the P25 conventional channels that they have been using. The 154.31 simulcast is off at this time. chris
