For instance in my building, we have a super old camera for the front door that was tied into the coax so you could use channel 3 to see who was at the front door - when that camera was active it would black out channels 3, 6, 38 and 48 because they were all on the same frequency.

It takes a bit to process but I find it works to clear things up most times. You can send that by saying "system refresh" to the voice remote, by using the A button on the remote, or by using the Video, then Troubleshooting tabs in the Xfinity My Account app.
