Took to dealer and they said " Honda was running low on refrigerant at the assembly plant and weren't filling the system fully". Now that was a bit ago. It didn't stop, but had less cooling. Recharged and has been good since.

Apparently the new refrigerant and oil required by new regulations may cause swelling of the compressor shaft seal.
