Every time I picked it up, I would play Junimo Kart. I finally hit above 50k in endless mode yesterday, but I find it's easier to practice in the progression mode since you do start with 3 lives. Prairie King can be done in like an hour or something. In comparison to junimo kart it is 1/5 difficulty and Junimo kart is 5/5 difficulty. The problem with JK is that there's so many extremely-difficult or impossible situations that spawn randomly (especially when it comes to coins and fruits), and even very bad checkpoint consistency as well.
