POF makes innovative stuff that looks very cool. My experience has found that POF quality is sometimes lacking and they don't really stand behind their products. I'd definitely go with the Ruger. It does have a LOT of proprietary parts, including upper, lower, bolt carrier group, buffer tube, etc. My understanding is that they get there by moving back the trigger group, which messes with quite a bit.
