7 posts · Joined 2010. #1 · May 23, 2010. Hi, I changed the spin on filters and drained the oil on the hydro gears on my Cub Cadet Z Force 48 yesterday. It looked like about 5 quarts drained out. I installed the new filters, and tried to fill it back up with oil. The expansion tank filled, but it won't drain back down into the hydro gears.
