Apr 24, 2019 · I bought a Sharptail in 28 gauge and really liked it way more than my Ringneck. The new triggers and springs were a major improvement. That being said, I also wanted screw in chokes in my 16 gauge SxS and after having an unpleasant experience with the Dickinson Custom Shop, purchased a Rizzini from John Boyd of Quality Arms in Houston and love it. 16 gauge, single trigger with screw in chokes.
However . . . My 20 gauge Bobwhite (and SuperXOne's Jon's Special) has 28 inch barrels. If you look at the CZ website, the 20 gauge Bobwhite is now only offered with 26 inch barrels. I'm glad I bought my 28" gun when I did . . . Likewise, the venerable Ringneck model is now gone from the CZ website, replaced by the Sharp Tail.Thinking about getting one. The target model has 30 inch barrels with screw in chokes. Anybody have experience? The insides would remind you more of the typical O/U than the traditional box lock.
