I tried to "reboot" by pulling the battery cable, and also switched the 5 amp sync fuse with the 5 amp radio mute fuse. No dice. The radio quit working. It displays "F150, Built Ford Tough" but the radio does not turn on nor to any of the buttons work. Its almost as it is frozen. Checked all fuses and none were blown buttons won't work to let me do the sync reset and tried disconnecting the battery nothing has worked

If your screen froze with the display on, hold the buttons down until the screen goes black. If the screen is black when the system froze, hold the button down until you see the Ford logo appear on the screen. Wait 3 minutes or so for the system to complete the reset.
