Unscrew the right screw and it should fall out. Put the slide in the freezer! The ejector spring/plunger assembly is put together wrong. That pointy end goes into the spring, the other smooth round metal end goes against the ejector, then the plastic bearing goes in the spring and the black plastic bears against the plastic rear cover.
Put it all back in my G19 slide and doesn't work again. Just received a new upper parts kit today and used the plunger from that kit and it works. So, for whatever reason that particular plunger doesn't work in the 19 slide. Inspected the plunger and it looks fine. Btw.
