Jul 20, 2014 · M engine is wider longer and taller and a M flywheel won't go in the H clutch housing and a H flywheel won't fit a M engine. 300 or 350 engine would give more power in the same external size engine. What some guys like to do with H's is run 300 parts (head, camshaft, bore kits). Super H vs. M. i have a choice of buying a 1954 farmall Super H with live hydrolics or a farmall M. I am hoping to bail hay with the tractor I get. the super H costs $2850 and the M costs $2500 both tractors are located in NJ the SH is located nearer to me the M is 100 miles away and it will cost me to get it to my farm. It pretty much fills an OEM Farmall H battery box. I don't think there's enough room in there for a "group 2" battery (same H and W as group 1, but 1-1/4" longer). New User. Oct 7, 2010. #1. I recently purchased a Farmall super H. This is a tractor I originally purchased in 1961 when I was 17 years old. I left the farm in the late 60's and sold the tractor. The guy that purchased it at my sale owned the tractor for about 40 years. He died and his wife sold me the tractor.
Today's cars and trucks have 200-250A alternators available, and dual alternator options over 350A. My semi tractor had one BIG 12V battery and a huge 100A alternator about the size of a 3-5 hp electric motor. The number #21 was the snapper version of the 34 HM 20 picker, The #20 was an updated version of the # 24. They look the same. The only difference is updated chains and a chain above the husking rolls to help keep things moving.
