I had an intermittent problem with the backup camera for a while showing the map with guidelines over it instead of turning for the rear view camera picture. I thought it was a connection or transmission related problem. Now it's no longer an intermittent problem.2012 Hyundai Tucson backup camera sporadically doesn't work. It goes black only showing the directional guide lines. When it occasionally does work, there's a shaky line at the top of the screen. Dealer replaced camera but it continued the same thing. Dealer now says the problem is the radio because the radio and camera use the same wiring.

Since the backup camera and backup warning and compass, etc, use that same fuse, this causes those things to stop working. Replacing or disconnecting the blind spot detection sensors (and replacing fuse M34) takes care of the problem, in this case.
