Hyper-flashing means a light bulb is out someplace. Tail light, turn signal, brake light, 3rd brake light - there are a lot of them to check. You also did not say if you have LED bulbs. Jan 25, 2021. #6. Have the same problem. Have led in the front turn signals and the mirror turn signals have a hyper flash. Going to change the rear signals sence I have the bulbs then deal with the mirror turn signals. Truck also reads the bulbs are out in the mirror . Have the auxito led bulbs.

So I did a led light conversion install highs/lows. Switch backs on turn signals and led parking and marker lights on front. To stop hyper flash I tried the heavy duty turn signal flasher No change. The hyper flash is due to the computer sensing the low/lack of voltage being used. So it is a warning to to you a light bulb is out. A resistor will in essence trick the computer that the proper amount of voltage is being used, so no hyper flash. Remember that if your LED light was to go out, your computer would not know, due to the resistor.
