Mar 22, 2012 - Home to over forty-five restored buildings, annual Antique Power Show, wedding ceremony and reception venue, and photo shoot photography location. It served as the Village’s main jail until after World War II. Until the mid-1900’s, Hampton had over twenty bars which kept the jail quite busy! When the time came for the jail to close it was saved from destruction by a local farmer, Harry Schaffer. Mr. Schaffer then donated it to the Little Log House Pioneer Village in the early 1990’s. Bauer and his wife, Sylvia, and their family operate the Little Log House Pioneer Village here. They will add Porky's to their collection of buildings.
