I have a marlin 922M .22 mag and the mag will not lock into the rifle. Its been a safe queen only put maybe 50 rounds through. Marlin 922M problem. I have never owned a Marlin until yesterday. I bought a Marlin 922M which is a .22 mag semi auto. I took it out and tried shooting it today. I shot one clip through it. When the clip is empty the action stays open.
