I had a 2022 love affair with a pair of Hoyt bows — the Ventum Pro 30 and Carbon RX-7 30 — both proved their salt repeatedly on the range and in the field.
If you have a V3X like me, I personally wouldn’t buy a Phase 4. It would be cheaper to add limb dampeners between the limbs or buy an adjustable stab, like the crossover stabs on my V3X. If you don’t have a Phase 4, it is one of the top 2 bows Ive shot this year. I will say the Hoyt's DL felt short on both the 30 and 33 in comparison to the Mathews. I was surprised that the longer ata Hoyt draw cycle wasnt as linear as the 30. It had a small dump into the valley similar to the Mathews. The Hoyt 33 also had just a slight buzz in the palm of my hand and it wasnt as quiet as the 30 or the V3X.
