1) Invert colors. Brown becomes teal, blue becomes yellow. 2) Reduce saturation. Once it's down to 50%, the brown is way less dominant. Magus very specifically loses consistent DPR in comparison because it has access to modular weakness seeking via Spellstrike and Arcane Cascade, as well as great utility via having spell slots, even if said slots are limited. Every DPR that has a benefit like that sacrifices a bit of damage and/or survivability. There's no equivalent of Warlock in PF2. Focus Spells are functionally Pact Magic so there isn't a need for a short rest focused caster class. Invocations are just class feats. I guess looking at it that way like half of PF2 classes are Warlockish. You're right in that Magus magic is just a supplement and not the core class focus.
