It's a pretty safe guess that the simulator is not fully simulating the RTCC. New peripheral support is always poor in the simulator. I never bother with it. To get a useful answer, always state which PIC you are using! Microchip does not make a controller with the part number: PIC16F19157 It does make a PIC16F19175 controller, but the bad news ...I have a 5V PIC18F2550 working fine in a circuit however another team that interfaces to my circuit has converted to 3.3V volt logic. I started to convert my interfaces with FET level shifters but as look at this, it would be more convenient to operate with a 3.3V PIC to beging with.
