This is because I use SierraChart and Jigsaw. SierraChart has the most stable data connection and excellent trade copier and most customizable charts. Jigsaw has one of the best DOM. The tradovate unfortunately only allows tradovate or ninjatrader, which has lacking features for me. DOM sucks on both and ninja has efficiency issues.tradovate is what i like the most is so straightforward, the biggest drawback is that you cant manage multiple accounts as seamlessly as you can on ninja. Tradovate is also our recommendation. I think managing multiple accounts will be better in the future with Tradovate, since Tradovate is now part of NinjaTrader.It is 2.25 commission + 1.28 Exchange Fee + 0.020 NFA Fee for total of $3.55 per side. I spoke with TD support today and it was explained to me the Exchange and NFA Fee will never be negotiated but after 60 days of trading futures you can have you account reviewed and depending on the volume of trading possibly have the commissions reduced.

The futures commissions on tda are nasty indeed. ~$5 per contract round trip. Terrible. But I like the interface and I think using ActiveTrader is easier and more intuitive than most other platforms I’ve tried. Honestly if your looking for orderflow tools, Quantower, Ninjatrader, and Jigsaw is best. Trading view doesn't have the tools that the other platforms have for trading.
