Re: Cog Railway. Yes, indeed. There is a narrow gauge partially cog railway from Brig (from Geneva you get on at Visp now) to Zermatt and another from the village up to Gornergrat. The one from Brig is the continuing track from the Glacier Express. Jan 3, 2024 · Wonderful ride up Pike's Peak on the Cog Railway. Staff was very accommodating with reservation information and guidance on best day and time to go. Train conductor was informative and funny in giving a guided presentation. Drink water on the way up to lessen effects of altitude. Train doesn't stop, but goes slow enough to take pictures.
