After doing research I decided on an Akko mod007, with Akko jelly blacks since they're supposed to be good stock and I didn't intend to lube or do any mods, and had pretty much 100% positive reviews. While I appreciate your review, and agree the keycaps are extremely poor quality (compared to other Akko sets), clicky switches just naturally sound pingy. Definitely a lot of that initial sound is the switch, and probably the cheap plastic keycaps (sadge).
