The old Harbour Bridge was built in 1959 and took three years of dedicated construction to finish. This historical bridge increased the city's commerce and brought in more trading. Sadly, the Harbour Bridge will soon be torn down and replaced by a newer version. Once the new Harbor Bridge is built it will become the tallest point in South Texas.
