Hatfield 12 gauge semi auto review.
Posted: 8/14/2016 10:42:19 AM EDT. I've wanted a standard (non-detachable mag fed) semi-auto 12ga. for a while now. Today at Wal-Mart I saw they had Hatfield 12ga semi-auto's for $226. Had a walnut stock (I'd prefer synthetic) and the barrel might need a chopping as I'm not a huge fan of the 28" barrels for range fun and defense.

Re. assembly, fitment esthetics: Fitment of wood to metal was Remington 870 Express quality or better. Wood was checked and quasi-interesting.This is really a heck of a gun for $240!!!! As far as Hatfield, I bought a 28ga. just before last dove season. Sent it back to them after only one week of trying to get it even load a shell. Measured the chamber and it was only drilled but not reamed to size. Was -.015" undersize and very rough finish!!!!
