Now, Lume does seem to "wear out" over time (I have a few watches that once had wonderful lume, now barely last 45 minutes). The best test is to just charge and try. If the lume isn't to your standards and it's not a watch worth particularly anything and you're willing to throw cash into it, get it re-lumed with some SuperLuminova or the likes.
