If you're hosting it from home and you actually have a dedicated server set up you can go into the zomboid game on the server computer and click on host and edit settings and you can edit all your settings right then and there. You click save and it will save it as your new INI'S as long as you're editing your servers. What I suggest is a fourth option: Saliva only. This way means that the player can't get infected with scratches, only bites.The active strain will still kill you just like the default settings. Yes, no matter how you die you'll come back zombified similar to the walking dead. You still won't die from it unless the active strain is transmitted by bite, laceration, or scratch.
