The trigger is crisp but don’t buy a flat CMC type. It will not work. Also you may end up shaving some of the poly down for a upper to fit. Not a big deal. Oh and a Gen 3 PMAG won’t work either. It’s that numb on it that keeps it from sliding all the way in. For a one size fits all kit these minor issues are not that big of a deal.

Dec 11, 2019 · I bought 2 kits, one for my new CPX-2RD and one for a older CPX-2. I watched the install video a couple times before tackling the install, took about an hour to install both kits. The new CPX went from a 8.75 lb. trigger pull to 4.16 ib., the older gun with a lot of rounds through it went from 8 ibs, to 3.8 ibs. Most SCCY pistol models allow for trigger pull adjustments, but it’s best to check the specific model’s manual for clarification. 15. My biggest problem with the SCCY 9mm trigger was the reset. It is super easy to “short stroke” this trigger by not allowing it to return all the way forward. This is because the trigger has to travel a long way to reset and there’s no clear indication when it does. Also, the spring that pulls it back is too weak.
