Posted October 18, 2010. Take the slide off, ease the hammer forward, push the mainspring housing retaining pin out slowly. When The pin comes out, try holding the mainspring housing in place as best you can. That keeps the sear spring from getting dislodged and also keeps the firing pin strut on the mainspring cap.Anyone find no magwell on the P more comfortable? I took the magwell off my Staccato P to make it a little thinner for carry, and I noticed the grip feels a lot more comfortable without the magwell protruding at the bottom. Anyone else notice this? I don’t really even see much of a difference with reloads either.

Gen 1 and 2 usually refers to magazines. STI grips (Plastic) fit the tac magwell. The staccato grip is a non info grip regarding the magwell at this point. Take Marc1911 up on the offer of trying one of his out. If any of the STI style magwells fit the Staccato grip then they all will.
