2018 L5P 3500 stumbles. New 3500 Denali bought new about 2 months ago. It has 1800 miles on it. while getting on the freeway at 35-45 mph relatively light acceleration truck stumbles I cant tell if its engine or trans caused. I’m getting a shudder/stutter when accelerating above 45mph. When I give it throttle above 45mph and it down shifts and puts the RPMs at 2,000, the shudder/stutter starts until 2,500 RPMs and then goes away. No issues under 45mph, during steady state driving, and it happen less when in tow haul mode. Same for your fuel filter. If your filter isn't letting enough fuel pass through, your engine isn't going to accelerate the way you need. Trouble starting your engine is another indicator that your fuel filter is clogged. If you've got a full tank of diesel and your engine won't start, there's a good chance your filter may need changing.
