Posted April 28, 2022. IH didn't change the total 25 degree advance on a 400 gas when fire craters were installed. Other models like M and SM fire crater kits used 22 degrees total advance. IH preferred the total advance be set at full RPM and idle advance fall wherever unless the distributor was warn.
