I am looking for a gas piston rifle and thought about getting a MCX but when I started looking at them, I kept hearing about Gen 1, 2, and now 3 and how parts from the Virtus don't interchange with the Legacy.

Never shot 300blk before guess it makes sense to feel like 762x39 since it's pretty similar. My PWS in 762x39 has a lot of recoil compared to my 223 one. MCX has adjustable gas block so should be easy to manage like the PWS.

It was started with spare parts that were going to be made into a complete MCX upper. The Virtus barrel and bolt, Match Lite Duo trigger, SIG grip and SIG charging handle were already on hand.
