As far as I know, it's the only mod that implements NPCs at any capacity. One of the best ones I’ve ever seen was called “SubparSuperiorSurvivors”. Unfortunately I uninstalled the mod and the creator made it private for some reason so it’s no longer listed.

Imo it gotta be Superior Survivors. I dunno I just feel like it is the best, not much lag like other ones and ability to add modded outfits to them with an addon (For example Small Town Survivors). Superior survivors is by far the "best" NPC mod but it has primitive AI due to engine/game or whatever limitations it has.Yeah, the old backers hated the old NPCs, the devs hated the old NPCs, that's why they removed them and working on improving the NPCs. Build 42 is pretty much the foundation to support the NPCs by introducing the plenitude of new features. As for the NPC mod, I think it's either one of these:just started playing PZ. And i won't recommend it. I used to play with this mod. At first, it was mind blowing, but slowly, as soon as I started finding out hostile npcs and raiders started spawning, it became a nightmare.
