Definitely an intentional design parallel. Except the space jockey in Alien was fossilized. So unless there was some kind of time travel, the one of 426 already existed and was long dead at the time of Prometheus. Ive got a 500 + hours in it. You just need to have a good imagination. U need to love the franchise and the game to enjoy the game, you'll not get bored of it.
