Green flares are used for friendly applications (atm, it’s just for extract on Klimov street iirc). White flares are for illumination (they really fuck with people who are using NVGs). Then I think there’s a yellow. Used to be a barter for a few different colored flares, but I think that changed. Flare cartridges require the flare gun.
