In this study, we evaluate the effects of the oil price war on both crude oil futures and spot markets. Three futures and spot markets are considered: U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI, ticker: CL), European Brent (ticker: B), and Oman crude oil (ticker: OQD), which are benchmarks for the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, respectively.
